“Pronunciare questa frase ‘la vita è bella’, 

nel tuo periodo più buio, non è cosa da niente. 

Dirlo forse è più semplice che crederci.. 

ma se ci credi, forse riuscirai a comprendere 

il vero significato di questa vita.. 

perché la vita è bella non perchè tu hai, 

ma perchè tu dai, nonostante tutto.. 

La felicità la trovi nei piccoli gesti quotidiani.. 

nei silenzi ascoltati.. nei vuoti riempiti.. 

nei sorrisi regalati e nell’amore vissuto.. 

La vita è bella se cerchiamo di vivere la felicità e non d’inseguirla.”

A worrior of light does not rely on strength alone

A warrior of light does not rey on strength alone, he makes use of his apponent's energy too.

When he enters the fight, all he has is his enthusiasm and the moves and strikes that he learned during his training. As the fight progresses, he discovers that enthusiasm and training are not enough to win: what counts is experience.

Then he opens his hearts to the Universe and asks God to give him the inspiration he needs to turn every blow from his enemy into a lesson in self-defence.

His companions say: "He's so superstitious. He stopped fighting in order to pray; he even shows respect for his apponent's tricks."

The warrior does not respond to these provocations. He knows that without inspiration and experience, no amount of training will help him.

Un luogo d'amore

C'è un'antica storia rabbinica che racconta come avvenne la scelta del luogo presso cui doveva sorgere il santo tempio di Dio. Due fratelli lavoravano entrambi lo stesso campo e usavano la stessa macina. Ogni sera si dividevano il grano raccolto e ciascuno portava a casa la propria parte.
Uno dei fratelli viveva solo, mentre l'altro era sposato e aveva una famiglia numerosa. Il fratello che viveva solo pensava che suo fratello, essendo sposato e avendo tutti quei bambini, avesse bisogno di una maggiore quantità di grano; perciò durante la notte andava segretamente al granaio di suo fratello e vi lasciava un'ulteriore porzione di grano. Il fratello sposato, da parte sua, pensava che suo fratello, essendo celibe, non avrebbe avuto nessuno che avesse cura di lui nella sua vecchiaia; preoccupato per il suo futuro, si alzava ogni notte e andava in segreto a depositare del grano nel suo granaio. Una notte si incontrarono a metà strada fra i due granai, e ogni fratello capì cosa stava facendo l'altro; si abbracciarono e, secondo la storia, Dio, che aveva visto tutto, disse <<Questo è un luogo santo (un luogo d'amore), ed è qui che sorgerà il mio tempio>>. Il luogo santo è il posto in cui Dio si fa conoscere dal suo popolo, <<il posto in cui gli esseri umani si scoprono nell'amore reciproco>>.
